650 where I live. That's for the cheapest model. 700 for the 4070 super.
I thought you were in the UK with quoting Overclockers
Edit: Sorry my bad It wasn't you that quoted the Overclockers I read it wrong. Where abouts are you from? I promise I won't stalk you.
I'm not from the UK.
Prices have been bad here since 2021.
Before 2020, High-end GPU's were 500-550.
Now they're double that :/
I remember paying 85 quid for a Geforce 2 GTS 32mb and thinking I'm not telling the missus, I just need to get in into my PC before she notices it. I had to get rid of her so I could get my 2080 Ti couldn't hide that on the bank statement. I'm in the clear though, the police haven't found her yet.
I remember paying 250 for a ATI X1800 XT a year after release. And for its time it was an amazing GPU, until i got a 275 GTX for 250 in 2009.
The future is funny, make people stay on older gpus longer, and longer until driver support get dropped. We need another Pascal miracle.
Eh wouldn't recommend either way since basically on par, while nice more Vram, but still kind of iffy with their drivers if comes to older games that just me.
No.
Uphill, in the snow, both ways? :)
(I'm reminded, though, of comic books. My oldest ones, from the 70s/80s were 30 cents. I was paying $4-5 an issue for them when I stopped, 10 or so years ago. Paperback novels have also gone up to $15-20 compared to 3.95 when I was young. Was shocked when I got a couple for my sister's birthday last summer. $40 for two schlock murder mysteries.)
If they can release GPU's with 50% performance over my 2080 between 400 to 500. That will be a huge win for me.
