You don't need to buy new hardware.
As for being bored, that is something you need to figure out.
Someone brought up a great question about "cloud gaming", and although i use Ge Force Now, it may be of Steams interests to come out with their own cloud service as Xbox has.
There was an interesting article from the WSJ, about how well Xbox is doing, not at all on the machine, but their service "Game Pass" that has gone thru the roof.
And Cloud and Streaming a big reason why. in that you can play it virtually anywhere.
I did hear in the coming weeks, Mr Newell invited to an event, in fact with MS with some big announcement, and don't know what it is (a new gaming console is rumored, but not confirmed) that can maybe open Steam up at much less of a cost.
Who said GabeN himself was invited to the event?

Oh goodie, pay an extra $800 and get a handheld small screen computer lol..
People don't need to spend thousands on "gaming PCs". Ive been playing games on a 'ighter budget for a long time now, it's not that hard.
Like everything else that may happen at the event, rumored.
Unless you're PC nerd that knows how to build these things, or a hardcore gamer, people are not going thru all that when they play the game thru a simple and cheap handheld or cloud service.
That's the main attraction at the event but Valve is going to gear up for SteamOS release for other devices, finally.

Things are in motion.
The only rumor is you stating GabeN is going to be there. It would be fun if he is going to be there but that is not mentioned anywhere.
It's definitely not a rumor that Pierre-Loup Griffais is going to be there.
I heard a new home gaming console...

They do that, i'm stopping posting on this tag, and using another. Can't afford to get into anymore trouble, if Steam is gonna be my main lol.
People heavily exaggerate this all. Always been like that. It's part of that nonsense "PC Master Race vs Console Plebs" nonsense. The same people who use phrases like "real gamers", "casual gamers" or "hardcore gamers". You know, idiots.
That is another thing they may do in that event since it is during CES...?
I came here shopping for an affordable PC, and we can't do it. These folks have caviar tastes.
And why should we if we can get the games thru much less expensive means then a PC.
I never even updated to the new gaming consoles. I don't need too. All the new games can be played thru Xbox or GFN streaming thru my Xbox One. Others may buy a Steam Deck or even play thru their phones.
PC is for work or school. There is no need for a PC at home in this day and age. Everything is phones and other matters.
People who can afford consoles or phones to play games can also afford a PC to play games on.
Come on Rangers, get a new wrong tune. Your incorrectness on this has been beaten to death way too many times by now.
