Anime Themes - something new in 2025?

I often like the event profiles as they're reasonably good value compared to standard game profiles. But can we please divert away from the cutesy anime aesthetic we've had for a while now? Something a little more original? New year, new art direction?

You should realise that the themes made this year were from one artist doing holidays. You will get something else for 2025, lucky you. Or pray you do.

I'm surprised people even make these kinds of threads. These profile themes are not even the worst ones we've had. 2024 was about steam delivery girl.

That depends on what the next commissioned artist's style is like. It could go any way.

You don't have to act offended. It's merely a request for something else. I know you're a fan of anime, but not all of us want that, hence, the post and the hope that we get something a little different next year. That's all.

if you want someone from steam / valve to see your request, post it in a forum the staff has access to.. There is no one from steam or valve in this sub-forum.

"Act offended". Do explain what could possibly have offended me here? I've merely explained why this theme was there for this year, no need to turn hostile.

Nobody knows what we will get for 2025 but this sale was the last contribution of the current artist. "Not all of us want that.". Well, we can't please everyone.
