No way to create a support ticket with Steam/Valve ..
So as far as I can tell, there is no way to get help from Steam, even when you have an actual technical issue with your Account..
All links, lead to the limited FAQ which just lead to account settings...

I understand that FAQs can solve a lot of issues, and most of the tickets they would receive, are stuff related to the users client, or a game, which is not Steams problem ( I know how full of garbage service queues generally are).

But the fact that there are no ways to contact Valve, when you have actual issues with your account, which you have hundreds of games tied to, seems like some real BS..
Especially considering the 30% Steam is charging to host the games.. I feel there would be a little money left over for actual support..

I am not receiving SMS'. Even if I try to change my phone nr. it states that it is the same (correct) phone nr.. So should work..

Worse thing is.. no one who could actually support on this, reads the forums.. so basically just ranting about poor support from Valve..

If I am wrong about this, and someone knows how to create a support case, I will gladly eat these words... But maybe moan a bit about, how hard it is to find the feature...

Edit: Found this post, which at least links to a place, where a ticket can be created.. not sure it is the correct place though...

Top Left Nav bar in the client, under the Help Heading, Click steam support.

Then click on Account:

Go from there to start a ticket.

That was the first thing I found as well.. And it seems there are some "contact Steam" buttons, but not related to phone and account settings, they just forward you to your own phone settings.

Yes, the support system is rather bad, since most click-paths lead nowhere.

There's the occasional path that ends with the option to create a ticket; you'll have to find one of those and use them, even if the section labels are unrelated to your problem.

It's basically designed to keep people out, not help them.
