Cannot Buy Europa Universalis IV Ultimate Edition

I cancelled my DLC subscription on EUIV, thinking it would fix the issue. Only after I did this did I see "Collection Complete! 20 of 20 items from this collection are already in your library." message in the same box. The add to cart button is basically greyed out, and I can only click the info button. Oddly enough, I can still buy the Starter Bundle. Do I just need to manually remove all the DLC from my library?

There are two types of bundles. Complete the Set and Purchase Together.

Complete the Set is for those who already own the base game and maybe some of the dlc so the price is discounted accordingly.

Purchase Together is for a first time purchaser whether at full price or discounted but is only available as a gifting option if you already own the game. Note: it will still show items you own.


Developers, publishers determine which type of bundle is offered.

Thanks for the good info, but I am wondering if I delete the DLC from my library if it will allow me to purchase the bundle (it is implying I cannot as I already "own" all the DLC but just through the DLC subscription) and if so, how exactly to delete DLC from Steam, I have never done it before.

DLC - On the game page scroll down and you will see on the right hand side "Manage my X dlc" where you can untick boxes to uninstall them.

IF that does not allow you to add the Ultimate edition to the cart try the following:

On the game page in your library click on Support.

Choose "I want to permanently remove this game from my account". (Note you can restore the game with "It's not in my library".)

Having done this go back to the store and try adding the game to your cart.

Please note: Although you have cancelled the subscription it will not end until the subscription period is over based on the day before the renewal date. This may stop you adding the Ultimate edition to the cart, no matter which scenario i have outlined above.
