You know, I never thought of that. I ignored it for a long time then decided to look at it again. Have always just clicked on the page. Still say it's a dumb change, though.
Just tried out the new discovery queue and you can ignore games. Circle with the line.
Without the images and just videos I don't play any of them and just ignored them all.
So thank you for finding a way to still see old queue, I can decide much faster by the Pictures if I want to play any of the often trash videos, or click ignore, Follow or Wishlist.
Thanks for pointing out we're not stuck with the new queue!
The new queue is absolutely worthless for quickly browsing new games. For me, the most impactful change is the image shown. With the classic queue, you're looking at the full store page and a meaningful screenshot. You can also see all of the other thumbnails and quickly click on a gameplay one. With this you're presented with the first frame of a marketing video. It has a big "play" button in the middle of it. You could press the arrows and scroll through the screenshots one-by-one; but, it's a huge waste of time and slows down the workflow.
It's far less fun and so I wouldn't use it ever. That's tons of games that wouldn't end up on my wishlist.
Steam: Your marketing was working. Don't fix what's not broken.
