Steam Awards 2024... and Stickers. L
I've always voted for games I liked here. There was a some incentive too, the badge gave XP..

This time though I actively won't be voting. Because stickers suck, and just clutter my inventory. Useless waste of art designers time. Afaik, these can only be used in steam chat, unlike emoticons that can be used like so :praisesun:

Shame Valve :steamfacepalm:

See the cost of them as well crazy. Not participating this time just did the Steam Awards anyway.

Same reason I don't vote any more.
I would if voting didn't clutter my inventory with garbage.
I never needed an incentive to vote, yet now I have an incentive not to vote. Go figure.

For my opinion we already “vote” by buying products anyway.

Since Valve already gets enough data (personal advertising, data collection for the purpose of interests and profiling) from us anyway, it's also completely superfluous. But bait works for many.

Stickers and inventory are the least of my problems since you neither see the stuff nor have to actively use it. What remains is digital data waste and waste of resources.

But to each his own...

Well, you're not wrong. Except about that "actively" part, can't really actively perform inaction.

Sorry to nitpick, but it's one of those overused words that literally drive me nuts.
