I voted on every category and never saw that "Alex Jones NWO Wars" game.
Also you could just click on the search field and nominate any game you want as long as it fullfilled the conditions of the category.
I doubt more then a handful of people did give any kind of ♥♥♥♥ about "Alex Jones NWO Wars".
Edit:
Lol that game has 1 person playing right now + a "peak" of 113 players.
There is zero chance that this would ever show up in the nominated games list.
The Game Awards is a Geoff Keighley production. Nothing to do with Steam or The Steam Awards.
The Steam Awards final voting doesn't even begin until Thursday.
I got mostly options for games that I don't even own as well as options for games that aren't new. It's a fun 40 minute game for when you actually care about completion; you'll get niche intermittent play. Nonetheless it was among the handful of options offered by Steam, and generally only two at max were familiar. Case in point: if it was among the very few voting options, it's owed free advertising retroactively for the award results. Perhaps shake the Etch A Sketch because while AJ was a ♥♥♥♥ post for GoTY and Innovative, nothing that won is recognizable as human.
While two have potential, HD2 squandered their Heinlein source material and it's just different forms of automatons in a doomed multiplayer game on the topic of relying on player numbers. Lumping it in slightly with BG3, anyone who can understand numbers and basic critical thinking rolls with Windows 10 on an HDD. Give me a PC with an SSD and I'll easily destroy that PoS with NotePad. You only get 100,000 write cycles max.
Edit: and by using I really mean using it. Not just keeping it on idle somehow.
My last HDD lasted barely 2 years before crapping out when on the other hand i still have and use my first SSD i bought in 2011 and it still works fine.
You either bought a really sketchy hard drive or you had to have done some serious physical damage to it. Even older ones were known to last around a decade when used with moderate care; and I made it a point to buy specific models. If your SSD has lasted that long, you clearly aren't writing to it frequently. I had six Steam updates today which isn't a large volume. Those are write cycles; as is saving a new notepad document. Thanks to epilepsy, my brain heals through neurogenesis, so the idea of a hard drive that deteriorates every time I use it is insanity. Time however I can accept: while the top SSD dies after 100,000 write cycles, my drives are good for 1,000,000 MTTF hours and warrantied for half a decade. Seeing as a one year warranty Playstation can last over eight years when cared for, that math is in my favor. Enjoy your old SSD though.

This is how I can tell that you're a distributor.
