I'VE FIGURED OUT THE GLITCHES OF THE SUMMER SALE GAME

Hello all, I believe I have figured out all the "glitches" of the Summer Sale game cards.

First of all, the FAQ says that you have to be Steam level 5 to recieve cards from the game, but it actually means Steam level 8. I don't know why they made a mistake, but trust me, it means level 8. I know this because when I was level 5, I received no cards. When I reached level 8, I recieved all of my unlocked cards when I clicked "start a new game".

I read on another forum that to get all three cards everyday, you have to:
1. To get the first card, join/start a new game
2. To get the second card, reach level 10 or more in the game
3. To get the third card, join a friend's game

On the badges page, when it says "6 or 7 or 0 or whatever card drops remaining" for the Monster Summer Sale badge, that number actually represents how many cards you have unlocked in the Summer sale. I'm pretty sure that this is just a glitch.

But lots of people report they got one on starting a game today, and lots of others haven't.

It's broken as ♥♥♥♥ when you can;t join a friends game because it's been going for longer then 10 minutes or on day 2 you get 0 cards due to bugs ...

I just joined a friend's game (not for the first time today) and immediately got a card (first one today). I am wondering if waiting til later in the round somehow eases the glitch (if there is a glitch lol)? Because in a previous round I was not getting cards until I started a new game like 16 hours in, I got one immediately and another at the level 10 mark.

it's all very disturbing and dissapointing. Don't have the same respect for steam that i did.

I have not received a single card from playing the game. Couldn't even get into a game the 1st 2 days of the sale. Yesterday and today I have been in the games but have not received any cards. Only cards I have gotten are 1 for every $10 I have spent on the sales.

I guess they realized that people realized Valve was selling them bs about the card drops and now made it almost impossible to get 3 a day because most people are going to be idling to get cards (ie, impossible) so you can't join friends

This update to the event is clearly a middle finger to players. For what purpose, I have no idea. Making people get the badge first to be involved is clearly a money-making venture in bending players over, but after that? It's just shafting players to shaft them.

I never looked on Reddit. I got all my information either from my own research in the game or from loads of different forums on Steam. Seriously, don't be so quick to judge people.
