It only took 3 years for witcher 2 (goty edition) to receive its biggest discount (85%)

Meanwhile, another game from the same company, cp2077 had only received 55% disc 4years after its release date

This is even worse when you start looking at games that have huge collection of dlc, like civilization
If you had actually been spending money on this store for a while, you'd have notice this.
Edit: I got all of Civ 5 and 6 in a Humble bundle. Didn't pay much, good deal. Along with some other Sid Meiers games I didn't have yet (Beyond Earth + dlc, for example).
I got Marvels Avengers Definitive Edition for $5 just by playing the waiting game, P2P as well. It was going to be delisted and it was a good way to make a sudden and final flow of cash for the parties involved.
Heck, I've gotten a lot of GOTY versions for around $5 just by waiting. If you wait long enough, Devs tend to do 90% discounts. Buy when it's the price you want, but if you want it "now, now. now"; pay the price at the time you want it.
Not very.
And can you think ofa few reasons why? Like say the game being waaay por popular and having a way larger production budget and still seing active development with patches and bug fixes...
It's almost as if the more stuff there is in a game, and the more anticipated /in-demand the title, the more it will cost.
Shocking.
If i remember the trainwreck that was cp2077 launch, i'd expect a 90% disc after a year of its release date.
But then again, most ppl these days have no respect of themselves
Now sure most dev/pubs pull the plug on a game after a bad launch, buuuut some keep hammering away and wind up with a better product.
Kinda why it pays to wait a year or two before buying these AAA games. $EVen if the price is the same, you'll be getting a better product.
