Real talk - why are so many games getting removed from Steam?
Has anyone else noticed this? In the last week, I have lost I think at least 6 games from my wishilst because they have gotten removed. And not just some random, "no one heared about this game, no one plays this game" type of thing. Hitman from 2016 - removed, Samurai Jack - Battle Through Time from 2020 - removed, Final Fantasy Mobius - removed, just to name a few from the top of my head. Like a lot of cool looking games that I haven't gotten to yet, with steam achievements and trading cards.

Steam - WTF?

The publisher is the one responsible pretty much every time a game is removed. Usually it's about some licences expiring or a remaster/remake replacing the original.

Talk to the publishers, bud. They are the ones who remove games, unless there is a legal issue that requires Valve to delist it.
Publishers choice. The Samurai Jack game is likely because of licensing, those often don't get renewed due to being too expensive.

Hitman 2016 has been integrated in that Hitman world app thingy that encompasses 1, 2 and 3.

Etc.

Simply put, ask the publishers as they made them unavailable.

Final Fantasy Mobius - removed,

That is a f2p mobile game which got shut off i think.
Would not make sense to keep that in store to download.
Mobius was a mobile game, yeah. Those die all the time and when they are dead, there is no sense in keeping them around unless they make them offline versions.
