Steam wallet limit - Steam Community Market question
Hello,

I was wondering if there's still a wallet limit to my steam account, and if trading items affects this.

I want to start trading, and want to know if I can add a few $thousand to my steam balance and/or if I can buy unlimited CSGO skins with my steam balance.

Oh forgot to mention - Topup method will be paysafecard! thanks :)
I believe it is 2000 us dollars. or the equivalent value in other currencies.

but do note that buying and selling items on steam aren't an amazing idea because of the fees involved.

good luck

I came across some information mentioning $2000, and I’m wondering if I can make purchases with this amount and then make a top up right after. Would that be possible?
You have a daily 2000 dollar transaction limit.
Meaning if for example you have 2000 dollars in your wallet, spend 1500, you then can only top the wallet up with another 500 dollars in the next 24 hours since you reached your combined spending/charging limit of 2000 dollars a day.

Within any twenty-four (24) hour period, the total amount stored in your Steam Wallet plus the total amount spent out of your Steam Wallet, in the aggregate, may not exceed US$2,000 or its equivalent in your applicable local currency -- attempted deposits into your Steam Wallet that exceed this threshold may not be credited to your Steam Wallet until your activity falls below this threshold.

Very clear answer to my question. Thanks!

Just wondering, would I be able to create another account to trade on?

To basically boost my limit? Thanks for replying by the way. You were very clear.

Thanks!

All accounts are treated as one when it comes to the limit. There is no increasing it.

What kind of Steam Wallet and item listing restrictions apply?

Currently we are restricting Steam Wallet balances to $2000. In other currencies, the limit will be set to a value close to $2000. We also limit the maximum price of a single listing on the market to $1800 (or similar for other currencies). You will be restricted from listing items for sale in the Community Market if the existing balance in your Steam Wallet, plus the sale price of the item(s), would together exceed the $2000 limit. We may be adjusting the Steam Wallet balance limit, or otherwise changing this restriction, in the future. Note that, if you have multiple Steam accounts, balances for all Steam Wallets associated with all of your accounts will be aggregated for purposes of applying this limit.

I think you don't know what market is for.. not what you want to do..
Hope he keeps his pc and steam account safe, or we might be seeing them posting that his skins and items were sold and the steam wallet emptied out...
