I mean for instance the best game i've ever played wouldn't have much value to me if it was only 30 minutes long, neither would the worst game i'ved played have value if it had 1,000,000 hours of playtime.
Now what any given qyuantity of meaningfyul enjoyment is worth to a given person is up for grabs.
Their games are hit and miss but mods make them bearable.
The only factor for me when purchasing a game is am I getting bang for my buck, and my time. A 30 minute single playthrough of a game selling for $10 can give me as much enjoyment as an 80 hour game selling for $70.
Likewise a free game with infinite replayability might not be worth a single second of my time.
So at the end of the day, the type of game doesn't matter, the replayability of a game does not matter, the length of content does not matter. The only thing that matters is am I going to enjoy the game, and is the enjoyment I am going to get out of the game worth the price I am paying.
