Steam video player oversaturated

When I watch a video on a games Steam page the colors are incredibly oversaturated.

Any fix? It is hard to become interested in a game if the game play video is just about unwatchable.

That's odd. It could be because of your graphics card. For example, on the NVIDIA Control Panel there is an option named "Adjust video color settings," and I personally set the Dynamic Range to "Full (0-255)" so any video on my computer looks better, but maybe you have something different that messed up the saturation. And that's me assuming you have an NVIDIA/GeForce card. If you have an AMD card, maybe the situation is similar.

I fixed this by going into my Nvidia Control panel -> Video -> Adjust video color settings -> Select "With the NVIDIA settings" and turning my Saturation down to 0%.
Restart Steam
Play a video to see if it fixed.
If it did:
Exit Steam
Switch NVIDIA setting back to "With the video player settings"
Open Steam
Confirm it's working

This worked for me and now all videos play normally.
