Half Life 2 gave no cards at all but I finished the whole game with expansions! WHY???!!!

I got every achievement too but no cards at all. Why?

Did you get it when it was recently free for a few days? If so then that's why, games obtained for free don't drop cards.

This^. Valve changed the rules on Limited Time Only free games to stop dropping cards.

On another note, games marked as Private do not drop cards while being Private.

Yes, I got it when it was free. I bought the older HL pack (Blue Shift, Opposing Force, etc) after I get the free HL2 pack.
I did NOT think (this free action) cause this!
