I didn't describe flashy.
If so, I would've stated they have a ton of large explosions/set pieces, devastating/mass clearing weapons, and usually big and extravagant finishes to levels/bosses.
Bulletstorm is a good example of an FPS that flashy.

Already described what's in a Boomer Shooter. At this point, it's just faux misunderstanding.

You compared Doom and Quake to Bulletstorm for some reason but you avoided discussing the the actual comparison you disagreed with.
