Would Steam accept a VN game with AI NSFW images of women since they are not real?
I'm working on a Visual Novel with "realistic" NSFW images generated with AI. The pictures are generated locally using flux dev and are quite realistic, to the point that some people might consider them to be actual raw photos.

Would Steam accept those kind of images in a VN game on their platform since no real woman is actually depicted?

Yeah its easy to blame the person and not the product, and is typical of big business.

I'm not "painting" steam as anything, it is what it is, and it sells porn, you can be in denial all you like.
Bruh... The internet is filled with porn. You're here shifting the blame on a store which HAS parental settings, instead of learning how to be a good parent.

It's like if you went to Blockbuster and complained about the adult section despite the fact that they have measures. Sorry that you have responsibilities?

It's funny, because he himself noted that those stores have measures and it's fine for him... But Steam's measures are not enough, because potato.

You have to choose to allow steam to even have the option of viewing porn. By default it is set to off. And if you're doing your job as a parent, and using the parental settings as intended, they cannot choose to view these titles at all. Making steam just a "games store" as you would put it.

TLDR: by default, steam does not sell you porn

Steam is safe. Ever heard of parental settings? Or, I dunno, being a parent? Don't be a bad one. Set limits, don't give brainrot to your kid. Educate them better...

Security settings are set by parents. If you want to blame anyone, don't blame steam who did make these settings. Blame the parents who don't use them. Easy.

You're trying hard to paint Steam as what it's not. Go figure why. The facts: Steam is a game store. It sells games. For everyone. Don't be a bad parental figure.

It's easy not to take responsibility for your own kids too. It's your choice not to use the tools provided to control your kids access. Why? Is it that you dont really care or are you too lazy?
