7 on 10 new and trending games are sex games
What the hell is wrong with men? I don't want to see this polluting my feed. Is there a way to opt out of an entire genre?

Yes. Turn the adult filter in your preferences back on. You had to opt-in to see this stuff.

Real games don't start coming out until February. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Avowed and Monster Hunter Wilds just to name a few, January is a dead month full of junk games.

Note that you're automatically opted out of said games unless you change the setting yourself. So if you're seeing them...

It's always hilarious to read these threads and see how long it takes for the OP to be reminded that they're the ones who opted in to see the nudie games in the first place. Lol

You have to edit preferences in order to see it. NSFW filters are enabled by default.

It's 100% something you chose to see because even though I had to look twice at 'School boy runaway' in regards to sex games, it fortunately wasn't one and neither were any of the other ones.

Good. Show me the good ones because I struggle to find one I would want to pay for. (And yes, I'm looking at them at times but I find many to be too generic, tbh)

Exactly. I have no idea why some people make the narrative that the setting is disabled by default. When the settings came up, my account enabled them instantly...

Nope it is default on, you have to turn it off and it very clearly says what it is

The problem is, there are "classifications of pornography" where as steam has none, so by blocking all the "hardcore porn" which is what most people want (we don't want a smut environment with those social issues), it locks out some games that have hardly any "considered porn", so you may as a gamer want adult content, but not hardcore porn.
Adult Only Sexual Content is its own filter, it very clearly only for pornographic games, there are separate filters for violence,gore, only frequent nudity etc
