bugged badge 2024 - 2025

The winter sale 2024 badge is appearing on new accounts created in 2025 without any purchases made. apparently, all accounts were affected even though they did not purchase items or games during this promotion as well.

Not a bug, anyone can craft the badge. The cards are still valid until a month after the sale ended.

You can craft any sales event badge any time you want, even after the event ends or the cards expire.

Hmm, I created a new account and then went to check my profile, I noticed the badge section, as if I had made a purchase or redeemed a card. so this is normal. Will this incomplete badge ever leave my profile? because I have nothing related to the event

The badge section from a sale badge stays there until the next one (summer sale in this case)
