Why all new Steam games are so bad?

It's all boring woke crap that you can't even criticize because you get banned, no good stories and zero immersion, I haven't seen anything good to buy for months and I haven't even been interested when they give away games for $2. The most hyped games fall one after another like failures. Obviously they have accumulated a lot of money over the previous years, if this company was new it would have already gone bankrupt.

I play a game from 1999. Asherons Call. One of the first 3 MMO's.

It closed down in 2018 but the player base always had a huge dedicated modding community, so they banded together and built the emulator the last 4 years. The game is now %98 done and will be finished by this summer. We been able to play the game in emulator mode since day oen but with limited content. But over the last 4 years the content was added.

They had to add 18 years of monthly content patches and did it on a rolling basis so adjusting the game for each individual patch. A massive amount of work. They even came up with some graph pointing out the cost of the thing if it was privately funded and it came into the millions of dollars.

All provided for free so us players can play the game. Mad.

I am not a programmer but i can do web based stuff so helped a bit with the wiki pages.

The game has an addon called Decal that was privately made and is not part of the game. But this thing allows you to program usign regex expressions all behaviors of your character. Once programmed into the macro format you can press play and the thing will level your character for you .

Its a bot like a bot in world of warcraft. Totally self sufficient. The only thing holding the bot back is the programming. Learn that and you can do anything in the game after pressing play on the bot. I will do everyting. Fight, loot, sort loot, get comps if you are a mage, go back to spot, fight.....all on its own.

The worlds number one rogue in WoW played this game before he moved over to wow.
Rekt was his name. He is no longer with us. Fame and money does things to people.

No. There are plenty of games those entities aren't involved with. In fact, the difference is overwhelming. The overwhelming amount of games does NOT involve those organisations and individuals.
