I have a bunch of games in my library that have been delisted years ago and they all can still be downloaded and play fine.
1. Purchased Games Stay in Your Library:
• Once you buy a game, it remains in your Steam library regardless of whether it’s removed from the store.
• You can download and install it anytime on your Steam Deck, laptop, or other devices linked to your Steam account.
2. Multiplayer Modes:
• If the game relies on developer-run servers and they shut them down, multiplayer features will stop working.
• For single-player games, you can still play offline as long as the game doesn’t require an always-online connection.
3. Backups:
• To be extra safe, you can back up the game files using Steam’s Backup and Restore feature. This ensures you have a copy even if downloading becomes unavailable for any reason.
It is worth noting that developers/publishers can remove the game from your library, such as the case with Ubisoft and The Crew (online only racing game that was never patched for offline support, but was removed from user’s libraries)
Most recently, all NASCAR games were removed. I still have them.
