Trade Ban for no reason
It has been a long time now, but I will try it again through a community post:
I have been banned by steam for a violation I did not do. My Account got suspended from the market and from trading.

Long story short, I had contact to steam support when this happened, it has been a while since then but I am still receiving the same E-Mail response, telling me "I violated steam community guidelines" which 'I never did, and neither can they prove anything when I am asking why I got banned.

I still have no idea why my account got trade banned and I am a bit upset because it took me a lot of time and effort to trade and work for these skins.

Does anybody have any idea if there is a possible way to have a normal conversation to the steam support or any way I can prove I am innocent to get my account unbanned?
I mean I still have my trade history and so on...

Just ticket system, no other way to contact support.

I would definitely suggest changing your Steam password, and de-autherizing all other devices. If Steam thinks there's something shady going on with your account and it's not you, it's possible you've been hijacked.

Valve don't issue trade bans lightly and they only take this action when there is evidence of wrongdoing. If you have a permanent trade ban then your account clearly committed a serious violation. Steam Support aren't going to disclose their findings in back to the user because a) it will help people evade bans of this nature going forward and b) you are responsible for your account and the activity that is conducted on it.

Sounds like you've already contacted support previous and they've told it how it is.

Well it is sad that the support does not even tell me what action made me get banned. Since I have no clue what I have done wrong at that time, neither have I scammed people, nor did I give my password to strange websites or users.

Well I guess there is no way to get the account unbanned which is unfortunate but I was giving it one last shot in the community here :).

Well, if you abandon it, just use one of your other accounts.

This one was essentially dead for years until activity picked up on it last year. I mean even the recent comments are from 2017, there are no common badges basically until 2022, and most of the games seem unplayed for years.

Edit: At this stage, I'd like to remind OP that Support can see ALL activity on an account which includes deleted information.

i feel something important is not being said like most bans. in a game i play people always cried about it then a mod would link the report and you truly saw why. the lies.

OP, has a trade ban. That has nothing to do with mods and the auto-flag system is most likely involved as well at some point.

True @Bee, I am telling you all I know about my ban. I am just disappointed that the support won't tell me the reason I got banned. If I would know maybe I would understand I mean its also almost 8 years ago now. But I got 0 information except

Your account has been permanently suspended from all trading. We have a zero tolerance policy towards scamming."

There is your answer. Not sure why you didn't write this in the first place or pretend it doesn't exist.

Your account committed trading activity designed to scam other users so it's permanently suspended. You know exactly what your account did or was doing so there is no reason for Support to expand on this further for security and concept integrity reasons.

Farming out blank trade offers, item-switching, baiting real money and under-the-table trades etc.. are just some of the aspects covered by this. You will of course say that you didn't do any of these and others but Valve investigated complaints against your account and found evidence beyond doubt.
