from the Steam selection - what is the best Sniper Rifle game?

this is actually the question - I have played many RPGs using stealth with a sniper rifle FO_X, CP2077, FC_X, BF5, ... even TES with arbalet :) Now I am serching for the specific game with a deep sniper rifle "employment". Any ideas? What do you think about Sniper Elite 5?

Ya, Sniper Elite series^^ off the top of my head. Thats their entire niche.

Yea sniper elite series, maybe it is not first person for movement but it is first person for shooting and is encredibly fun and still great at sniping. Unless you try some hunting game like Call of the Wild or Way of the hunter...

Sniper Elite 3 was my introduction to the series, and it's great! A lot of people say 4 is the best but I never finished it. Not sure about 5.

Anyway the base price for the series tends to be a bit steep, but they go on sale often with a steep discount so grab them on sale and you won't go wrong.

Sniper Elite and Sniper Ghost Warrior (particularly Contracts 2) franchises.

Fallout 4 with its weapon mods / parts, items, traps, damagable body parts - and stealth realistically working mostly only during night or from very long range (you can skip daytime).
It doesn't force you to play as sniper, but that's what I specialized on during the first playthrough.

Optionally you can wear a body armor or late in the game by progress a stealth field, but I don't use them.
Optionally you can disable quick travel, instant heals, saves outside optionally self built towns and make yourself have to eat and drink (survival mode)

Thanks for this opinion! I have played FO4 with all DLCs over 1.4k hours. It is amazing game indeed. Now I am making pause from FO and waiting for FO5 or London DLC. Desirable - with modern gaphics. Just playing Battlefield 5 with focus on the sniper rifle, I have thought that somewhere should be quite specialized games for this specific weapon.
