Sharing my account with my cousin in a different country
Hi,

I left my old computer to my cousin and I moved to a different country for education. I play games once a month, but I don't want steam to terminate my account. I realized "otherwise transfer your Account," this one. Can I use family share to share all my games? (I really play a game once 3 months..)

One more thing: in user agreement it says: "whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content" but I use VPN. This is because I usually play games while training NN on my server in my home. So, I cannot turn off VPN because the training run on back.. so basically I cannot use steam anyway if I obey this one! Then it's really stupid of me that I purchased a lot of games...

While you can family share between regions, games may not be playable. It will all depend on what store region your account is set to. If it doesn't match the IP address region of the person borrowing your games, they cannot play them.

VPNs no longer have any affect on Steam store region for existing accounts. But even so, it's not advised to try buying games with one connected. If your in a different country for an extended time and have a payment method and billing address that match the region you're in, you can buy games from that Steam store region, otherwise, you'll still buy using your old billing information from the country you were originally in.

You can use Family Sharing for him to play games as long as you aren't playing, yes.
Keep in mind that this does not necessarily means your entire library. Each Game handles it differently, some allow it, some dont.

Don't worry about it too much Ayran.

The "circumvent regional restrictions" thing only really applies to people who use VPNs to buy games cheaper in different regions than where they live. Game publishers don't like that, so Valve has to make it against the TOS. There are a few more reasons but that's the biggest one.

Clearly you aren't doing this, so you're good. Keep using your main Steam account, because as the poster above said, it will remember all your initial details such as your country and payment details.

Thank you all!

I think worrying is unnecessary then :) I'll tell my cousin to setup a new one and I'll share the games

Thanks for the valuable responses :)
