has zero to do with steam, the game devs likely messed something up....
everything that runs in win 10 runs in win 11 as they are both technically the same, also majority of win 7 programs and drivers work under both 10/11 as well.
that being said, win 10 will likely have support from steam a few years after microsoft drops support, so i dont know where you came up with that story you made up.
all of its free, you can bypass any BS microsoft restrictions and disable or remove all their nonsense programs, ads and telemetry.
AFAIK it works for Windows 10, but if it just the enterprise having issue, then go report the bug.
Actually C²C^Guyver |NZB| has a point, you think the fuss about Windows 7 is something you should have seen the stance again Steam and CS1.6. People didn't want to use Steam they didn't want to play CS1.6, they wanted to stay on CS1.5 which was perfect in a lot of peoples eyes and yes it was a very good version of CS.
However, CS1.5 was a mod for Half Life and Valve was taking CS (now a standalone game in Steam) forward with allowing for easy installs and updates which lets be honest was an absolute ♥♥♥♥ show before Steam but people didn't care they wanted to stay on CS1.5. A lot of people didn't move over to CS1.6 for many many years because they were adamant that they were not going to use Steam and CS1.6 but eventually they moved over and then they realised that they were scared for nothing.
Up to CS1.5 it was still classed as a mod as you still required the mods to install the game along with Half Life and it's updates. With CS 1.6 you didn't need any mods or Half Life any more. Valve started to sell the game as a standalone game with Steam which it still does today.
But no matter the versions of Counter-Strike, what I was trying to explain was that you were right about CS1.6 and Steam and how people didn't want to make the change and that you could compare software to OS, especially as the uproar was much bigger than this Windows 7 debate.
I agree, truth is painful for people. Irrational behaviour is especially true for my nation. People fell easily for all propaganda, and they are getting robbed, the quality of life fell, the economy in ruins, but people no longe cares, they are no longer citizens just consumer zombies.
What do you think i was with 4k games, don't you think it's stupid ?
And we are all, more of less, some consumer zombies, because it's the only thing that make our society working ...
Ah, i do not think it is stupid to have a hobby like gaming, consumer idiotism means you have to buy things you don't need. Clever phones are a good examle. Or buying a huge pickup even of you are not into agriculturals or buying SUVs because you are a bad driver and you dont want to be the one to die.
