Windows 7 Support Ending - Refunding my Entire Library?
So let me get this straight, my games that run fine on Windows 7 I can no longer access past a certain point? If this is the case I will be talking to my bank and refunding my entire games library. I have zero interest in upgrading my hardware or Operating system.

Does this not violate consumer or anti-trust laws?

When I started using Steam I never agreed for them to control what hardware and operating system I can use, especially considering all of the games I play support Windows 7.

click bait trash which was already debunked when someone mentioned that $10 gaming PC.
You thinking it's click bait. doesn't mean it is.

Look, you guys can debate this well into next year and it will not accomplish a thing. Support will still end. Window 7 users have two choices. Upgrade to a supported OS or don't. It really is that simple.
maybe if we can convince the US navy to adopt steam as their COD platform they'll have the president send gaben a letter asking him nicely to not?

the actual linus guy isn't even in charge anymore... he's just raking in profit off his brand.

he still owns his company, he just put someone else in charge so he doesnt have to do the work and can help put out more content/ect..
didn't he say he was stepping aside to have more time for personal things and just kinda "sticking around as a consultant"?

no, he said (forgot the guys name) ... his old boss from ncix is coming in as a boss and will "run" the business for him and while he has say in stuff going on, linus still owns the business and he can over rule anything, he also said he wanted to do more of the content and have a bit more personal time, as doing the "boss" stuff took way to much time and it was a almost 24/7 chore.

though im willing to assume he will still end up dealing with stuff, just not as much as it was with just him and im guessing his wife as well.

ok, my point is linus tech tips is an entity, not a person like people are representing them...
it's not like "good ol linus showin us some of his tricks!"... it's a tech media platform that's producing content to get you to watch it... hence the "budget builds" where they re-use things.

linus and his wife made the company, linus tech tips is essentially linus, ie... "linus" tech tips, so however people are saying w/e they are saying, its perfectly fine.

at the very least, LTT shows or tells and figures a price into their "budget" friendly videos, tho with some you get the bs that other person posted about a pc built with $10 :lunar2019laughingpig:

All the click bait thumbnails prove it though.
The only thing proven is you didn't actually watch anything.

Watch it. They bought budget stuff and managed to get an okay PC for gaming. It's not gonna max settings on any modern games but it'll play a lot of games.

I think I sold my last motherboard/CPU/RAM/GPU combo on eBay for more than that; it was a 7700K with 48GB DDR4-2666 and a GeForce GTX 1080.

no. I don't want to give them the revenue for their clickbait.

So, blatantly ignore it, because it invalidates your argument? Ok.

I'm not "blatantly ignoring it"... I'm directly addressing it with and explanation as to why I'm not viewing it.
