do forum bans affect steam workshop
i have been permanently banned from the ages of conflict discussions and i still want to upload workshop items because i love this game to death, so do forum bans stop you from using the workshop

Yes, you are banned from the Workshop. You can download items, but you cannot post on them. And i would assume that also means uploading or adding to the Workshop.

I agree, i think it's ridiculous, and quite frankly unfair.

If Developers or Moderators are going to leave mods the responsibility of the user, that would mean they are not responsible for the mods.

Yet, they have the ability to ban you from such an activity, which would tell me THEY are responsible for the mods, if they in fact control what happens there.

i have received 3 warnings and 1 ban in the forum
Jo Oct 26 @ 11:31am
still do not think it warrants a permaban
Jo Oct 26 @ 11:32am
it should have warranted a ban 1-6 months long

i have asked steam support if it actually does affect the workshop

It's not a forum ban, it's a community hub ban. It affects all of the tabs (except making a review because the game developer does not moderate that part).

You just said you got 3 warnings first. So it wasn't just one comment.
If you got banned from a game hubs, you are banned from ALL community aspects for that games hub.

By your own words, you got warned multiple times and then banned.
It seems you got fairly banned.
They warned you, you failed to heed that warning, and then got got punished.

Steam support will not help you.
The game devs or their appointed moderators banned you, support has no power over them.
The fact they gave you SEVERAL warnings should have been enough to tell you to stop what you were doing, but you clearly didn't.
Now you face the reality that your actions caused.

Does he at least have the abililty to take the mod down?
It affects the entire hub. That includes the forums, the uploading or commenting on workshop content, uploading art or screenshots to the hub, commenting on any reviews including your own (it does not stop you from posting a review or editting one), commenting on any screenshots or artwork in the hub, and posting or commenting on guides.
