Scammer or Nay?

a random steam friend of mine who i accepted just because they sent a friend request randomly told me a scammer used my image to frame me of scamming unusuals out of said friend. they sent me a link to a group called "Trade Guardians" and sent me the link to the admin that pinpointed my account to the group

i reached to the admin and told them im at risk of being mass reported by group members. ive been instructed to "appeal" by trading my tradable tf2 items to their bot to check whether or not i have the unusuals which i dont. they sent me their "digital steam id" showing that theyre an official anti fraud investigator and a gif of my account inside the "steam group banning tools" and threatened to permanently terminate my account if i dont follow

i coerced with another steam friend of mine who i trusted and they told me that it was a scam so i quickly denied. then they showed an image of them submitting a petition to terminate my account and so i blocked them

was this a lure or not?
