What exactly is the problem you are having? Also, list your own system specifications, as those are far more important in determining what your problem is.

Never played the game but had it in my collection and just installed it to try.
Works without a problem.
Ryzen 3600x, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080, Windows 11 PRO (newest update)

Please post YOUR system specs. The problem is likely something on your PCs.
System specs. List them. We cannot help you troubleshoot without them.
I believe you that you have those problems. Its just not something systematic with the game itself that seems to run fine on a selection of modern systems.
There is something the game does not like on the systems you are trying it on, thats why its useful to know the specs you used if there is a common factor that could cause problems with the game.
