That's heavily exaggerated. There are thousands of games where you're not "bombarded" with it.
Says the guy from another country that never met an American conservative in his life. They are against these things, as its written in the fabric of the Constitution, and on the statue of liberty, that all people are equal, the code they are standing behind.
lmao. just lmfao.
how many games just failed in recent memory. sure thing bro. numbers dont lie like people do.
I strongly disagree. I passed on half of the new games I have bought in the last few years not because they had a little, but because they bombarded it. Its being pushed in most games now, hence the complaining about it.
That would be like saying karate isnt in every game. Ok but its all over the homepage and store page and everywhere else. Its something not everyone has to be into. It shouldnt be forced on people. Even if people dont believe in it because of their religion or whatever, people should accept that too, not go psycho rage on the world until their ears are just tired of it, like you would probably be tired of karate after a while. And no its not an exaggeration in the least bit, its exactly how it is.

why is this thread open steam.
if you cant read your own rules and read the op and figure out the problem gratz just more proof you dont get it and you are the problem now.
Feel free to disagree but I could list at least 50 games from THIS year, 100 if I made a commitment and a 1000 if I had the motivation.
In the past, women in games were created to appeal to a market of mostly insula men. Pointy ♥♥♥♥, jiggle physics, unrealistic waistlines combined with boobs that would give any woman extreme back pain. Women in games were objectified and portrayed as every boy's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantasy.
There has been a huge amount of sexism in the media and the game's industry for decades, and several generations of people have grown up with that. American media especially is guilty of this and as a direct result women are still looked down on by men and that's why we get sexist comments by people on steam & twitter saying women shouldn't be in games development or games industry. You see that from Mark aka Grummz on twitter who proudly indicates that a perfect dev team are all white straight men and you see the same disgusting comments here just hidden within walls of text.
The objectification of women and sexism in mainstream games is coming towards an end, and more realistic representation of women are replacing them. Of course, some of those boy gamers who grew up surrounded by sexism and the objectification of women are going to be angry about it and going on a political crusade. To them, women are them sexist tropes they grew up with and the objectification that came with it. Women are only useful to them so long as they arouse them.
Games are far more mainstream now, a significant amount of women and people from all walks of life play them. More people from far more countries have access to games than ever before, and that comes with more minorities having access to games. That's why the games market has changed.
Many countries are far more accepting of LGBT & minorities than America, and that is where American Politics conflicts with the millions out there who didn't grow up with the same hatred and prejudices. A significant amount of the rest of the world see this culture war as immature, bigoted, paranoid and toxic.
To some visitors to these forums, minorities are seen as tropes and stereotypes, they grew up with them tropes. Minorities have been portrayed as the villain to be feared in American politics for decades, and that's why there's a conflict when they get included in games too.
The paranoia from certain people over consultant companies is extremely irrational & results in threads being spammed on every new game. These activists don't know that most businesses have been hiring consultant companies for decades. Part of the reason for that is to adhere to the laws of their own country, as well as laws elsewhere in the world.
Over the last 20 years there have been many laws introduced tackling racism, discrimination and sexism. Business's have to adhere to them laws or be fined, and that does end up in games as a direct result and to appeal to a market that is more representative of the world.
Im GenX. We didnt care about race, at all. We all still generally get along. Just now liberals talk about race 24/7 for no reason like they have some kind of mental issue about it. The stuff millennial liberals say is not only never true, its rude, and insane. Blacks generally do not support liberals or trust them adopting them as their puppet and throwing them in the spotlight like they need special help.
Also I can tell you that growing up in the part of USA that liberals say is the most racist part, where people walk around with cowboy hats and all that, there is no racism. Blacks there dress the same way too. These liberals just have to talk about it nonstop for some reason.
And to say there's "no racism" is a bit rich, no matter where you are.
A quick, lazy google gave me this, obv ive not checked but lets assume theyre a legit news outlet.
"Hate crimes reported in Texas rose about 120% in 2018 and have been climbing ever since. " Texas Tribune 2023/12/14
