Ban Ragebait, let us blacklist words like "woke"

This place is diseased. Honestly would be a better community without ragebait. Moderation is much too lax and we need ways of filtering content to get honest discussions. Because not doing so leads to arguments which makes threads like these show up constantly. Custom filters will at least make it easier to use Steam Forums for it's desired purpose.

If you want to "discuss" this bs then use x or facebook or some other useless dumpster. But as always these are just bait threads to trigger simple folk

just make a custom word filter! i use it when streaming games for my friends and my siblings to watch. no need to ask about banning words! in fact there should be no ban on words so people can restrict words they dont wanna see and unrestrict words they want to see!

You could, you know, use your brain before commenting? You will still see the other person in quotes. And you still get notifications which contain the start of a message. Not only is it not blocking, it doesn't even work properly as an ignore function.

I uhh don't think his entire comment was very clear. But your "don't click view post" was certainly not a good response. Those people are still there even if you don't see them. So he was right, they are indeed still invading your thread.
