I don't care about anti-cheat software, but Microsoft is definitely locking down and restricting the Kernel Mode API's to Microsoft (and I imagine 'trusted partners') only.
that is for sure. facebook had a friend i may know and it was someone i recently met just walking my dog. no other contact then just that. So i do question when things don't sound right. i don't really have much knowledge on this game. just watching if what they say is true
I totally get it—Delta Force can be a fun game, no doubt about that! My concern isn’t about the gameplay itself but rather the technical and privacy issues caused by the AntiCheatExpert (ACE) system. While it may not technically be spyware, its kernel-level access and lingering presence even after uninstalling raise legitimate concerns for some players, including me.
It’s great that fans are enjoying the game, but I believe everyone deserves to make an informed choice about what they’re installing on their systems. Thanks for sharing your perspective, though—it's always good to hear from the community!
They do not get deleted if you have other games using Tencents Anticheat downloaded.
Tested on a real machine and VM.
They already have it
if you play easy anti cheat games and uninstall them all easy anti cheat will have folders in several places that stick around for better and worse.
how do i know
apex legends.
warthunder
vermintide 2
ive done it.
its one of those things that gamers universally hate because while it ussaly doesnt cause problems youll know when it does.
Never had issues and if I did, a clean format of the comp will do the trick.
Exactly I totally get where you're coming from. The game itself looks really fun, but when it comes to invasive software, you have to draw the line somewhere. Protecting your privacy and personal data is way more important than playing any game. Hopefully, the developers will listen to feedback like this and consider implementing a less intrusive anti-cheat system. Until then, staying cautious is definitely the smart move
