Warning: Delta Force Installs Invasive Kernel-Level Spyware and Causes System Issues
"WARNING! Delta Force installs highly invasive kernel-level spyware disguised as AntiCheatExpert (ACE). This anti-cheat software feels like it’s spying on you and causes serious conflicts with other anti-cheat systems like Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), which is already kernel-level. The most frustrating part? Even after uninstalling Delta Force, ACE's services remain active on your system, causing issues with other games!

I tried to launch a game using EAC, and I got the error message: 'Please close ACE-BASE before launching.' Even when Delta Force was uninstalled, ACE's services were still interfering with my system!

This is completely unacceptable for a free game. The risks to your privacy and system stability are too high. Here's how to remove ACE if you want to fix your system:

Open CMD as Administrator and enter these commands:
sc delete ACE-GAME
sc delete ACE-BASE
sc delete "AntiCheatExpert Service"
sc delete "AntiCheatExpert Protection"
Restart your PC to finalize the removal. Save yourself the trouble and protect your privacy—stay far away from this game!"

I don't understand why some people attack you in the comments instead of thanking you for offering advice to us. They are people without feelings. Anyway, thank you so much for pointing that out to us

You should post in the forum for said game.

:nkCool:
99% chance it will be deleted. because developers are not nice people.

They made a post there before posting multiple threads on the main forums.

The other post is still up.

yeah, not really a good idea to use a kernel anti cheat. its just asking for the criminals to break into it / compromise it, because the reward is untold thousands of compromised machines.

its a really dumb idea on the devs part to use kernel based AC in the first place. heuristics is better, because the cheaters have even less idea how they got caught.

Yet nobody is outraged by anti-cheats that operate in the SYSTEM user account, which VAC does, if compromised, can still allow for a complete takeover of a system.

I'm kinda surprised more people aren't freaking out at the "LEVEL INFINITE PASS" requirement.

No it doesn't? VAC runs as the user who is playing the game.

Non-owners are very often not nice, often listening to rumors rather than reality, and amplifying those rumors by any means necessary.

When I posted that, I did not even realize that the warning was ON the store page. It seems that Steam is fully aware of it and they are just really warning users of it.

Tbh the game is really fun but I get you think it's spyware it's not so stop reporting it fans give the game a fair chance
Hey there! 😊
I totally get it—Delta Force can be a fun game, no doubt about that! My concern isn’t about the gameplay itself but rather the technical and privacy issues caused by the AntiCheatExpert (ACE) system. While it may not technically be spyware, its kernel-level access and lingering presence even after uninstalling raise legitimate concerns for some players, including me.

It’s great that fans are enjoying the game, but I believe everyone deserves to make an informed choice about what they’re installing on their systems. Thanks for sharing your perspective, though—it's always good to hear from the community!

I can get behind all what your saying here and I get what your trying to do and applaud you for that. I myself have not run into any of the issues your stating even though I have MULTIPLE EAC games installed on this machine including Delta Force and not once have I ran into the issue your describing.

But I get your trying to help the person the MAY HAPPEN to have the issue in the future, so all good.

What I believe most people are having an issue with is your use of the accusation of SPYWARE without providing valid proof of your claims. Yes I get the whole tencent-CCP connection and the whole China=Bad when it comes to ♥♥♥♥ in the states cause copyright is a word that doesn't exist over there unless your stealing their ♥♥♥♥ lol. (Sorry yall I had to, its funny lol), but if your claiming their EAC is SPYWARE, then EVERY EAC is thereby SPYWARE, or none of them are.

Spyware is not defined as such based on your statement. Is EAC invasive, for sure. But until mfs stop making cheat software to ♥♥♥♥ up game experiences for everyone, this where we are at.

He's just a hypocrite, he complains about Delta Force and it's EAC/data collection yet has been playing war thunder and other freemium games for years that ran into the same exact issue. :sleepyjill:

Context matters, and you're trying to play it off by pretending it doesn't.

Context does matter, but I can only go off of the context I got from your post. To me, someone that is THAT distrustful of corporations, then it makes little sense for them to engage with corporations/services that aren't a requirement for living.

If you want to make it make more sense to me or explain your case a little better then by all means but regardless, I'm just giving an opinion.
Nah, you can do better than that. Anyone not kidding themselves knows steam has been the target of scrutiny from all directions recently. Valve is not some kind of shady noname third party anticheat software distributor. Big difference.
