Incessant "System Information" Popup - How To Stop?
Whenever Steam is open, every three minutes without fail, Steam will automatically drag me out of whatever I was doing to show me a System Hardware window. I don't know what, I don't know who, I don't know why. I certainly didn't tell it to start. I can't find how to turn it off. The two buttons seem to be "Compare Your Hardware" (lol NO) and "Close." How can I tell Steam that "Close" is actually "Close, Stop Asking, And Stop Crashing My Games To Desktop For Your Nonsense Dear God Take A F*cking Hint"

Seriously, was there some kind of memo I missed? Hell, beyond the "Compare Your Hardware" button I'm not sure what or even if they're asking for?

It's the monthly Hardware Survey. I've never heard of it acting this way, especially mid month.

Thanks for the answer. Though, for a "monthly" survey, not only have I never taken it before, I've never even seen it before.

I also have zero interest in taking it. Any idea how to make it go away?

It's a random sampling of users monthly, not everyone monthly.
