Even if that would be true.....why exactly would people care?
And it would help the devs more if people would buy the games for the full release price, and not wait for sales ;)
Just use the platforms you're comfortbale with, we all do that. Though other platforms, at least on PC, do suffer from lacking catalogs.
Do you go into every store you don't like and shout at the customers why you don't like it and why they shouldn't buy from there?
