Here I’m playing in 4K on a 38” and the UI is tiny.
Valve is unplugging Windows 7 but they can’t be bothered to add a simple feature like UI scaling in this PC gaming holy grail of an app???
In SteamOS, go to Settings -> Display -> toggle off Automatically Scale User Interface, then play with the slider until you're happy with the display size.
No such settings in my Steam. All I have under Settings is Display, which doesn't have any options of changing UI scaling.
Steam has had UI scaling for a long while. It's name and location has changed, but it's been there for years.
Bro, I swear - I'm in the Interface menu and I do NOT see this option here.
I'm using:
Steam Version: 1694466342
Steam Client Build Date: Mon, Sep 11 2:51 PM UTC -08:00
Steam Web Build Date: Sat, Sep 9 4:01 PM UTC -08:00
Steam API Version: SteamClient020
Are you using a different version?

Next step redownload Steam client to do this, head to where Steam installed > Delete everything in the folder except for "steamapp" folder, and "Steam.exe" file, once done run "steam.exe" and see if it there.
Just wondering you on Windows correct?
I’m on Win 7. Maybe that’s why…?
I see if I have any friend that still on Windows 7, and ask them to check for me, but just giving you heads up, I do recommend moving to Windows 10 at some point as Windows 7 & 8 getting dropped early next year. You can use same Windows 7 key to activate your Windows 10 key for free, just use media creation, and do upgrade option this will activate your key to activate your Windows 10 copy.
UI scaling works on Win10+.
