is there a game that combines RTS and FPS
Hey does anyone know of a game (thats good) that combines Real time strategy and first person shooter.

Ive imagined a game where its a sandbox with the player being first person fighting against a enemy who is playing in a base/army building mode.

Think Hero vs skynet.

Im thinking this can come in many forms tho but anything come to mind?

There's a few that I know of that are combinations of Tower Defense and FPS style, Sanctum and Dungeon Defenders.

Nuclear Dawn

"Explore war-torn post-apocalyptic landscapes and take fight against enemies using various weapons in this FPS/RTS hybrid."

Nuclear dawn is fairly close and does look good its just not quite what Im thinking of.

not against other players. Think a giant bug swarm that is all controled by one (killlable leader). in a sandbox mode so its player against a commanding a.i that can build and manouver armys.

does that makes sense?

Was going to say Natural Selection 2, but it does not meet that criteria. It's ancient and not on Steam, but Battlezone 2 might be the thing you are after? Tribes or even some of the older Battlefield games maybe?

these are close again. For what I mean the player doesn't need any allies or a strategy screen. Its just important that the enemy builds a army against the player in a sandbox style.
