My sentence is in the future lol
I kind of went under the Steam radar for a couple of yrs.. blame it on age. lol. But hey, it's great to see my games still on here despite.
Bummer that CS only has the 5 yr coin despite the fact that a lot of us have been around longer than 10 yrs with that game.
Mom's CC might help, sure, but nowadays isn't that hard to build up a considerable Steam account with lots of games and a reasonable high level.
• Purchase on Steam only during the sales: even if only during major ones (winter/summer) it'll grant you perpetual access to trading and Community Market.
• Keep any eye out for sales on (authorized!) 3rd party sites like GMG, GG, etc., and indie bundles. You can get 10 games for like 2-3 USD.
• Play all the games who have cards and/or some sort of tradeable currency.
• Trade said cards/currency to complete card sets and craft badges.
• Sell the products of these crafts for more currency.
• Also participate in any promo the Steam Community might be doing (e.g. Community ambasador, Steam's Hardware Candidate, etc.)
• Rinse and repeat.
That's how i got so many games...
That's like those idiots that make threads "just to get a badge". These things have no meaning.
I just figured it out today old man. Im an old fart (relatively) too so we should stick together right? Well, those cards that you never cared about? You canput them on auction and get back real money in the form of steam wallet funds. As you collect more of them you earn stuff like backgrounds and emoticons etc. The kind of stuff we don't usually care about until we see how cool the System Shock 2 stuff is ;)
Anyway, without spending any money or commiting any starting capital you can just use the free drops you get to level up your profile or whatever if you wish. I actually moved mione from 5 to 10 after not having it move in over a year lol. I still do not care about any of this (weoll, the SS2 stuff is pretty sweet as I said" but hey its free and maybe better stuff is obtainable in the future.
Same...... On Runescape xD
