Occasionally getting pop-up ads when launching Steam

I always got a pop-up ad in Steam once in a while, but now these pop-ups are happening more often when I launch Steam. I have notifications about upcoming releases, new releases in the interface settings disabled but that doesn't get rid of the ads permanently. Is there a way prevent these pop-up ads from occurring when I launch Steam as they just annoy me when all I want to do is get straight to the game and not be interrupted with an ad? Sure I can just close the pop-up ad, but I want to prevent these pop-ups from occurring in the first place.

This has nothing to do with Steam. You must have adware or some other sh..ite like that on your comp.

Steam > Settings > Interface >>> last toggle option

It's coming form Steam. It's pop-ups about Midweek Deals when I launch Steam, such as a popup advertising Tiny Tina's Wonderland at 67% off.

Hotsauce, I already have that option disabled and that's the 3rd thing I do whenever I setup Steam on my PC.

Also I have Steam not to automatically startup on Windows startup and I launch Steam manually before I launch a game in my Steam library. Maybe my method of using Steam whenever I launch a game is causing these pop-ups?

I think they are triggered by opening Steam. I get them every time I launch it. Sometimes they have 9 pages, other times only 1 or 2. But I have never started up Steam without getting this popup!

It is bugged, yes. Others have complained about it for weeks.
