You should have gotten a email from Steam explaining it after selling the item.
Money will be releases in a day or two most of the time.
The joke is the amount they hold, it should be like the initial minimum spend $5 , anything lower is just having a laugh, especially when we are talking about cents.
I wonder if this is to save cash exchange or utilising the funds in the short term money market... either way it is a unwarranted restriction.... if they held both the cash and item in escrow I could understand but it only goes one way.
edit: I'll just wait for the winter sale.
I sold a background to a highest bidder.... funds on hold. What a joke.
That makes no sense ever and you clearly don't know how a casino works in comparison to Valve.
A hold would reduce people's interest in spending more money.
LOL wut.
Sorry but no, you don't understand what OP was saying. If valve holds your INGAME ITEM SALES FUNDS, you HAVE TO DEPOSIT MORE $$$ FROM YOUR BANK, or wait. Therefore, making you spend more money in the long run, especially with people in this thread selling things cheap to get a sale price before it ends, those people will both sell their items and have to spend MORE MONEY to get their sales. Maybe pay attention to what people say before you jump to being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, because you made yourself look very stupid for no reason.
Sorry, but why are you claiming an impossible thing? LOL wut.
Literally no one can claim this is going to force people to spend more money.
By definition not how that works.
Sorry, but you can't insult me here.
Why claim impossible things? You literally can't claim it's designed to make people spend more money.
Literally not how anything works.
Yep. Exactly.
