I had the same thing Sochinator, someone on steam told me that he reported my acount for scamming in a trade (while i never trade with people as i have been scammed before) and i have not traded for over 2 years with players or so, they told me i needed to contact some random guy on discord with a tag simular to Support#2021 (this is not a real tag but that is what the guy told me who to add, and this aint the one, they are now random nummbers) but yea that is an attemt to get all your items and your account and so on, and the funny thing is they always start with "Hey Bro"

It's disguisting that these people have noting better to do then scam others.

It's a scam. Report the user and ignore if discord has that feature and made no further contact with that said scammer.

See it this way: since there's never a shortage of idiots, scamming is actually pretty easy money. You basically ask "Yo, wanna give me your stuff" around, even if only one out of thousand is an idiot, that's still an easy gain. I'm being very optimistic here, I think there's more idiots than one in a thousand.

Been repeatedly said for years, Steam support will never contact you, they only reply when you manually submit a ticket on Steam help section, no where else, not Skype, discord, Facebook, MySpace, or etc, only Steam help section, they don't do live chats, phone calls, or private emails either. As scammers been going the whole 9 yards, they make fake pics, fake gif, fake video, they use whatever trick in the book to try get you to login to their phising sites, or get you to provide them your private information, money, or items.

If you did login to a phishing scam site, and still got access to your account, then follow these steps ASAP, delaying only make things worse for yourself, do not skip any, as this is to help you secure your accounts.
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Most common reason people get accounts hijack for any service really are as followed.
- Sharing account infomation with others. <--- Very common with impersonators, pretending to be Steam admin / support.
- Logging in on phishing sites. <--- Very common with skin gambling sites.
- Downloading / Installing Virus / Keylogger on your system.
- Using public devices that has keyloggers, such as cyber cafe, school computers, and etc...
- Storing your login credentials on a unsecured service that others has access to view.
- Using same login credentials for all your things, or using same login credentials on another service that had a data leak. Yes it does matter because even if it not related to Steam, if using same login credentials, hijackers will try to use those credentials to see what services you use with those credentials. https://haveibeenpwned.com/

That is sadly true, i just cant understand how they sleep at night then, and i am sure they sleep fine, but in my opinion its all a sad and scumy business.
