They release an hour long documentary to get all of us to wear the rose-tinted glasses, but that's not enough.

I don't think they want to provide the premiere PC gaming experience any longer. They are more interested in profitability at all costs.

I really hope over time they lose customers and that a competitor takes over. Enough is enough. Steam is a platform synonymous with cheaters, scammers, racists, pedophiles, you name it. It's a place that is openly hostile and people will target your family if you post any identifying information.

I get the "wild west" approach, but when none of us have anything to actually defend ourselves against these bad actors, it's not so much a "wild west" but a dystopian troll-verse where people can behave as poorly as they want and face no repercussions for doing so.

I mean, I've got several thousand hours in TF2 and I'm a complete casual, it'd be like me trying to lecture how comp/MVM are best run, when I play neither.
