There are multiple games on that list that have full controller support, at least two of which I have played using a controller since well after December 11, 2023.
And I have. never. seen. this. controller. prompt. message. ever.
Not before, not now.
So... sorry I don't launch 100 different games each week, and have to work 60 hours a week right now, so I don;t have much time to actively play many games right now.
But if this message pops up any time you launch a game that has full or partial controller support, I should have seen it at several times already.
Anyway as you say you've played games with full controller support, but as far as I know, that's not a criteria. Prodigal has full controller support and it doesn't do it. Do you own Star Wars Jedi Survivor or The Last of Us? If so, and If this doesn't happen for you when you press play on those games, then that could be useful information.
Any chance you or the OP are running the Beta Client, and this might be something being tested there right now?
And no, I don't own either of those games, and I am not about to buy them just to test if they are what is setting this message off for you or the OP (unless you are one and the same person posting under main and alt?).
I guess this is another issue with steam. I just did a quick search and it seems this is not an isolated issue. not that it matters. I already accepted that you played a number of games recently. It's all good.
I don't think anybody would expect you to buy games to test an issue you're not experiencing, I was just asking if it was convenient
Also... why would the OP do that? How would anyone benefit from that? I'm not sure why you would suggest that?
If you don't have the issue and don't have those games then I'm not sure what you are even doing here. Thank you for your feedback anyway.
I was just asking about the reason why when I already grapping my controller and setting back, and steam already sees the controller and the game is ready to play with a controller, at that moment u get a notification to tell u to play with a controller and u need to grap your kbm to close that notification and then get back to play with your controller. That's what I call a BS. That's it.
What did I asked anyone to do?
It's frustrating and stupid, but I wouldn't stop playing on steam for that.
Thing is, the notification will appear on the new games you plays or a games that u haven't played in a long time. It'll disappear after that, but it ruins the moment when u are in the mood to play a good game.
