While Neverwinter Nights isn't an mmo by definition due to 100 max players in a server, some say it is hands down the best dungeons & dragons platform there is (aside from pure tabletop).
I just like grinding/farming max level and inventory. I like EverQuest Project 1999 and Guild Wars 2 but am looking for a more chill and relaxed MMO to play that is easy... I tried OSRS but was bored out of it by farming Strength only... It's a bit boring even though I like grind a lot.
Guess I'd have to buy membership and do all quests but is it really worth it? I tried Tibia then and it seemed more fun than OSRS at least on the noob island... I only wonder what MMO is the best for me.
Guild Wars 2 a close second.
+1. Best experience imo
I actually tried it along with EverQuest Project 1999. EverQuest I actually know how to play now, at least in the lower levels but Ultima Outlands was way too scripty looking and I didn't have the motivation to learn how to play it. If there was a good tutorial on YouTube that explains everything in less than an hour that'd be good. EverQuest was much easier to learn than UO.
Is FFXIV really better than WoW? I didn't play both of these, instead I play Guild Wars 2 and I quite like it. Just got 100% world completion and completed the personal story. Will do the DLCs now and then I'll try Fractals.
As someone who played both and active XIV player. it very depends on what are you looking for. WoW does better when it comes to high end content with Mythic+ and lower GCDs but leveling, storytelling and etc? def FFXIV
May I ask what makes FFXIV so good? What game is it most comparable to?
Heavy focus on storytelling and world building,
You aren't pressured to keep on playing as in fact. you can step away from the game for a long while and keep on your progress. FOMO isn't really a thing on FFXIV
Very generous free trial (Until Level 70 and you get to play A Realm Reborn, Heavensward and Stormblood)
At least from my experience, rock solid community
