Dead Island series, Dying Light are good games but nothing like Day Z.
There's also 7 days to die, which can be played solo and has similarities with Day Z.
Bias, look it up, Dead Island and Dying light are games like Dayz.
Not even close
thanks for the reply brother! i played 7 days and project but still theyre not close to day z like huge map with the same mechanics where you can one man army bandit camps, kill zombies. hope they drop a singleplayer of that game because i dig the world of day z.
Plus you can modifiy the settings of your own world like loot amount, enemies and such to your own liking and make it as hard or easy as you want.
Only played in single player since i got the game since i have no interest in multiplayer.
To get a impression of the current gameplay:
oh yeah! i played it and this game is really close to dayz the problem is the world is empty theres no bandit camps to take or anything interesting so far i know because im always dying just learning the game haha but correct me if i am wrong if theres npc or human bots to hunt you down i love this game too!
wait a minute you said modify? how?
If you play in single player you have a setting " Server Setting" in your options where you can adjust everything in your game, like how many zombies spawn, trader outposts, how much loot you find, damage received and inflicted and so on.
Basically you are the admin of your own private single player server and can adjust everything to your liking.
And yeah, the world is very big and can feel empty but they added some stuff to explore like some secret bunker complexes with really good loot and new monster like enemies and some radioactive zones and such.
Also they added trader camps where you can sell and buy stuff from NPC.
Currently they are no bandits or such in the game, only the zombies, monsters and mecha guards but its on the roadmap.
Its still the best option if you want a "single player" DayZ like at the moment.
holy jesus! aight thanks for the response! hope they add bandit bots someday too!
To each their own though, to me, the tenseness of the possibility of running into someone else or hearing gunshots close is half the fun but on days I just want to chill, and not have to worry about other players it's my go to.
