I too hope that they disable that any time soon. I already contacted Steam Support about it, including several other issues.

They replied that they'd pass it on to their technical team, and advised me to post such issues in the Steam Discussions. I was assured that they read that forum.

Not yet it seems but at least the account name is retained upon the latest update so you don't have to complete the entire credential set each time. Really surprised it released in this way seeing it was widely reported back in the beta.

I agree with J4MES. This update strikes me as rather a haphazard piece of work. It feels very much like a work in progress.

yes, "remember me" box should NEVER be checked by default!

i'd like the login window reverted to before this mobile garbage was integrated, when i could manually enter my password and login for an unlimited session.

Actually, that CAN be done. In the top left corner of your screen, click 'Steam', then 'Settings', then 'Account', and check the box for "Don't save account credentials on this computer".

the fact that it wont allowed me last week when it updated is the only reason im logged in rn, because my phone app just update and i have no steam guard code it doesnt show the code lol help plz?
