Auto-Login.

I have the "Remember Me" Checked on my Steam App that I use to get to Forums and Store Links and such. Most of the time however, When I Launch anything, I have to Re-Enter my Password.

I am wondering why the Steam App does not Remember as I have Checked for it to do???

Auto-login only remembers the password in the application and you have to do it in the browser, when you log out, you have to select it again

The part that does not remember is not the Browser, it is the Steam App on my Computer when I Re-Start it..

Thanks. I do not see anything in there that I can Check to "Remember My Password", but I do have That Option Checked in my Steam Desktop App.. 9 out of 10 Restarts, I have still got to Re-Enter That Password....

Top left corner of the client itself is Steam. Click on the word Steam. That will open the menu. Click on Settings.

Now, let us see if you set it up correctly...

1. Check the "remember my password" in the login screen.

2. Important step... Also uncheck "don't save account credentials..." in your settings under Steam > Settings > Account after you do login.

3. Log out.

4. Log back in entering all the info minus the account name again.

5. Log out.

6. Check... Log back in to see if it was done correctly.

When I click on the Link above, I do not see any Big Red Arrow...

I DO Already have the Remember My Password in the DT App... I have redone that log-in several times, and it does not remember.

I am Currently on the Settings page. I will try from there to Log Out, and then back In Again...

I just Logged back In... Hope it sticks.
Under Settings, I see: Account; Family; In-Game; Interface; Library; Downloads; Cloud; Music; Broadcasting; Remote Play; Web Browser; Controller; and Shader Pre-Casting, but Nothing about Log-In.....

Under Account, I see My User ID, Current Email, VAC Status, and Security Status.

The DT App Screen has the Remember Password, and as I have had Steam for several years, it has not Remembered my Log In more than a dozen times at most.

btw, I just opened this to the forum without having to enter my PW... (Hope it holds)

Most of the time when I turn my system on in the am, I need to Re-Enter PW into the Steam APP.

I will hope it stays connected when I get back on Tomorrow...

Use a web browser if you have to to see the image. But using steam client you should see the image as well.

Now I see the Red Arrow on the Image... It was not there for me previously.
On That Steam Page, That is NOT Checked......

Any other ideas??
