Big Picture Mode Alternatives?
Steam Big Picture Mode is a great idea but Valve has seeming dropped support for it. As a result it feels outdated. A worse UX than what the consoles offer in terms of customization, fluidity, etc.

Is there any alternatives? Is Valve ever going to update it? I vastly prefer TV gaming so I'd like to make that experience as comfortable as possible

Playnite has a few different library display options including something like BPM that can be navigated with a controller.

Below is what it looks like with a portion of my Steam library.

Latest Steam Client update and the Beta already had two more updates where BPM was adressed...

It was released when Xbox 360 and PS3 were a thing... not their modern UI but their initial one. And since Valve has lots of stuff to do they won't ever focus on UI implementation for a view-port that is rather unused by most of the community - sadly.
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
