How to find people to play games with in my timezone.

As title states. I live in FL and everyone i know plays on console and will only play whatever is trending (Mostly cause they aren't as much of a nerd as i am and they only play games when they can hop into a lobby with their friends and play the latest COD title while i still play games like Baldurs Gate) so its always hard to find anyone to play stuff with.

So, is there a Discord channel for people looking for other people to play with in the Eastern time zone ( Florida )

Try the discussion hub for your game/s of interest. Post a new discussion in that forum title it like looking for players from Florida or US.

I do that from time to time but it doesn't seem to work out that well :/
Especially since i play some, What you would call "unpopular" games

For example, If i ask in the Torchlight II up for someone in FL that would wanna play it normally doesn't turn out well.

I wanna be able to post in a group where its a bunch of people from my time zone, or from Florida even that are looking for others to play stuff with

Join a server with low latency.

Maybe join one of those Florida steam groups. Personally, I'd made some friends this way and they might be willing to play those games.
