I played Metal Slug with a friend, opened Fallout 4 to originally test the mobile remote play, and also opened Bloodstained: ROTN to test it.
Ye https://store.steampowered.com/remoteplay
Yeah you may need to create accounts and a bit setup on both devices but it very easy and simple.
The streaming speed is incredible fast and allow to remote all over the desktop instead just the game screen like steam offer, you should try it once.
Update: I reset my password and now after double checking and logging in 2 times everything seems fine so I shall reinstall parsec later for sure :)!
Remote Play With Friends:
- Game With Anyone (As Long As 1 Of You Own The Supported Games)
- Host Sets Up Game for Client Player
- Host has min. Impact because Host doesn't connect to Client, just the Client connects to Host?
- Host only may or may not get Lagg from Hardware issues of their Hardware
- Client gets all the Online Lagg from Host
- Client may or may not have Lagg from Hardware issues on their Hardware
- Client gets Controller Input Lagg
- Client gets Audio Lagg
- Not Much To Setup For Host
If the Game sucks with terrible Online Service, the Experience for both Players
will be even far worst... But? If the Game runs amazing, then both Players have
a much better Experience... Windows 10 even has 2 APP's providing their own version
of Remote Play With Friends (1 With Less Security & 1 With Best Security) There is also
the Option of I think it was called Team Viewer, it's how people played it in the old days,
guess the Service & Technology never got Updated... At least it's more Secure now, though...
Playing Online with friends or by Local Play, or even Party Play (2 Computers in 1 House),
was always the best way to Game, but sadly Valve has not delivered on this,
so Remote Play With Friends might be a nice alternative...
Just too bad it does not work for every Game...
Why mentioning that it is free...? Steam Remote Play is free either
Parsec has a better implementation for multiple devices of the same kind. Remote Play does not support multiple Mouse and Keyboard players while Parsec perfectly does.
Besides that I would say Steam Remote Play works perfectly fine if not even better than Parsec. PLUS you do not need additional software to do this since Steam delivers it already.
